The next 100 years will be the era of quantum computers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a predominant part of our lives with it assisting us in just about every activity from our day to day work to the construction and development of projects. I think in 100 years time there will be mostly robots doing all the jobs. There will be only one or two people in a factory. I think people will be working at home a lot more and not so much at work.
In shops there will be no shopkeeper but robots doing their work. At the checkout there will be scanning machines to scan your items. However most people will be shopping online.
The world’s energy demand will have gone up many fold. There will be no fossil fuels only renewable sources of energy, including wind energy and solar energy. Just about every vehicle will be either electric or nuclear powered. Cars will no longer be the most predominant mode of transportation. It will most likely be a small flying vehicle like hovercrafts. Self-driving automobiles will take over. Hyper fast trains running between continents may also be a norm.
